The Rudranath Trek is the third of the Panch Kedar temples in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, located at an altitude of approximately 3,600 meters. The trek’s base point is Sagar village, from where the trek is approximately 20–22 kilometers long. The route passes through dense forests, beautiful meadows like the Panar Bugyal, and high mountain streams. The trek typically takes 4–5 days and is considered moderate to tough. The best time to complete the trek is May–June and September–October, when the weather is clear and the trails are safe. The route offers spectacular views of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. Upon reaching the cave-in Rudranath Temple, the trek is filled with both religious devotion and natural beauty.
