Itinerary
Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (190 km Drive | 8–9 Hours)
Your journey begins early in the morning from Dehradun, heading towards the quiet mountain village of Sankri. The drive passes through scenic hill towns like Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori, with the Yamuna and Tons rivers flowing alongside for much of the route.
By evening, you’ll arrive at Sankri — a charming base village surrounded by pine forests and snow-clad peaks. After checking into your guesthouse or homestay, relax and enjoy a short village walk followed by an orientation session about the trek ahead.

Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (4 km Trek | 4–5 Hours)
After breakfast, the real adventure begins. The trail from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab ascends gently through dense pine and maple forests. As you climb higher, you’ll hear the crunch of snow underfoot and the sounds of nature all around.
By afternoon, you’ll reach Juda Ka Talab — a serene, high-altitude lake that freezes completely in winter. The campsite here is surrounded by tall trees and makes for a perfect spot to unwind with a bonfire and group activities in the evening.

Spend the day enjoying snow games, photography, and team activities. This slow day helps everyone recover from the previous day’s climb and prepare for the higher altitude trek ahead.

From the top, you can see a 360° panorama of peaks including Swargarohini, Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Har Ki Dun Valley. After spending some time soaking in the views, begin your descent to Hargaon, passing through beautiful snow meadows and forests.
